Early Thanksgiving dinner

We celebrated Thanksgiving in October! Since I am leaving for Asia I will not be in the states on 11/24. So Annie, Jean, my dad and I celebrated downtown at Chuck Muer's new Seafood restaurant in Detroit. It is a new venture between Muer and Andiamo's located in the Renaissance Center, overlooking the river. The meal was an experience. I had Great Lakes perch. We also met one of the executive chefs. A great way to celebrate the holiday.

The DAC for Monday night Football Lions game

I've been to a number of Lion's games. Few were this fun. None were this loud. We started the night at the DAC tailgate. Then headed over to Ford Field. They beat the Bears, and played very well.

Hobee meets horse

I met a horse today! During our annual Banburry Cross Charity Walk we went by a horse farm. I was curious. Never seen one of these things before. They seemed interested in me too.
