Kevin's bachelor party

Halloween weekend in New Orleans might be one of the best bachelor party ideas. The city was packed! One giant party.

We landed a three bedroom - 5 bathroom - suite at the Mariott, free of charge, after some VRBO shenanigans. Right downtown in the French Quarter.

Our first night started with a bar crawl. Great event because we had a published schedule. So when people arrived into town they knew where to find us. The rest of the weekend was spent on Burbon St, Frenchmen St, Jazz bars, Harrah's casino, and all over the French Quarter. We even still found time to visit some of New Orleans more famous stops (Pat O'Brian's, Felix's Oyster House, carousel bar, cafe Du Monde, and the Krazy Korner)...

It was an epic weekend with a great group of guys. Hand grenades, hurricanes, frozen Irish coffees, and one or two rounds of beer. We partied with Parades, bands, flash mobs, and thousands of people in crazy costumes.

Our trip to Mystic CT

We came to Mystic for Mike and Lili's wedding (Annie's cousins). The downtown is great. We had a great corner room, with a fireplace, overlooking the bridge.

Trip highlights included a party at a mansion, reception at the aquarium, and a tour of the historical town harbor.

Knuff Family reunion

This weekend we traveled to Wheeling West Virginia for the first Knuff family reunion.  The resort we stayed at was excellent.  It had a large pool, walking trails, and even a zoo.  We had a great time with the aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins.  We even met new members of the extended Knuff family.

Our trip to the UP

Annie had to cover a week of cases in Marquette.  So we took a family trip to the UP.  During the day, while Annie was at cases the girls and I covered many parks.  We also did the Children's museum.  One of the best children's museums I have been to.  After Annie was done we went to Mackinaw Island for the day.  We took the ferry from the UP side and went under the Mighty Mac (the Mackinaw Bridge).    After all the traveling we stopped in Rogers City for a few nights to hang out with Aunt Donna, Uncle Chuck, Jessica, Keith and the Kids.
