Faith's birthday

I took the day off on Faith's birthday. She picked the aquarium and Lego land at Great Lakes. She loved seeing the fishes, and looking for Nemo. After we went to Rain Forest Cafe and then ice cream before Lego land (we also caught the Merry Go Round). She liked Lego land even more than the fishes. She went on her first roller coaster (or really ride). This cart takes passengers around a track where you have a laser gun. She enjoyed shooting the "scary spiders." when done immediately got back on line and did it again. We also went on another ride, slides, and of course played with Legos. When done we headed to get mommy a Mother's Day present and then to the park. There we met mommy and Lainey before heading home for home made mac and cheese.

She had a blast on her birthday (and so did I).

Faith's Birthday party

When she went to bed tonight she told me "I had a great party." And she did. She played with her friends (Naomi, Grace, Mac, and Elizabeth), neighborhood babysitters (Gracie & Sophia), and Family (grandparents, uncle Rick, Aunt Sue, Aunt Donna, Aunt Lynn, Grandmarge). Our theme was Doc McStuffins. And purple and pink. Mommy made purple and pink cup cakes, she just ate the frosting. We also had a bounce house! Most of the party, and her weekend, was consumed by the bounce house. She squealed she had so much fun!

This was a fun and memorable birthday. At 3 Faith had a much better grasp on what was happening, and how special the day was. She takes about her party for weeks, and when it came it did not disappoint.
